History of Life Renewal Charismatic Church
Life Renewal Charismatic Church (LRCC) is a Christ-centered ministry with a rich spiritual heritage, born out of revival, obedience to divine calling, and a clear mandate to impact lives across nations. LRCC Canada, headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, serves as the global headquarters of LRCC Ministries, providing spiritual oversight, apostolic direction, and administrative leadership for all LRCC expressions worldwide.
The journey of LRCC began during a powerful convention titled “Catching the Wave with Jesus”, held from May 3rd to May 9th, 2004, at Abura After Six Grounds, Cape Coast, in the Central Region of Ghana, Africa. This historic gathering marked the spiritual birthing of what would later become Life Renewal Charismatic Church, a ministry firmly built on the foundation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This historic gathering marked the spiritual birthing of what would later become Life Renewal Charismatic Church, a ministry firmly built on the foundation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Prior to this, Prophet Kofi Ofori Yeboah, who had once been among the founding fathers of Salvation Bible Ministry, received a distinct call from God. In obedience to this call, he established Revelation Released Bible Ministry on July 14th, 1998, with a clear divine mandate: “to release the fire of God unto the future generation.” That fire ignited a remarkable revival in Cape Coast, particularly among the youth. Many young men and women encountered Christ, experienced salvation, discovered their God-given gifts, and began to actively serve in ministry, ushering in a season of spiritual awakening and purpose.
Presently, LRCC Ghana remains under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Anthony Anyemadu, the Resident Pastor, who serves faithfully with the support of the local Church Board. Despite facing numerous challenges over the years, the church has stood firm, anchored in the promise of Scripture:
“I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
— Matthew 16:18
The church is duly registered with the Christian Council of Ghana and operates under a formal constitution that includes a clear Statement of Faith. As a result, LRCC Ghana enjoys full legal recognition and the backing of the Government of Ghana, with the authority to conduct public Christian services, such as weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other ecclesiastical functions.
With LRCC Canada (Montreal) serving as the headquarters, the ministry continues to advance its global mandate in alignment with the Great Commission:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”
— Matthew 28:19
Our vision moving forward is to build a multifaceted Christian church; God’s family, made up of people from every nation, tribe, and tongue, characterized by Christ-consciousness, sound doctrine, and spiritual maturity. Through evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, and strategic partnerships, LRCC is committed to transforming lives and communities.
We are equally devoted to collaborating with other Christian bodies within Christendom and with social and humanitarian organizations that share a passion for improving human lives through the light of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
With confidence and gratitude, we look to the God who has begun this good work in us, trusting Him to bring it to perfect completion.
